Our Story

A few years ago, the old bank building closed its doors and the new owners, Mark & Sandy Dowdy, knew that our lake community was missing something special...coffee and ice cream! The Dowdy's had this idea for quite some time. After touring the space, they knew it would be a great fit for Holiday Shores. But how do you remove a massive, heavy vault that once secured stacks of Benjamin Franklins and other valuables? The short answer is...you don't! The vault remains and you name a coffee + ice cream shop after it!

In the Summer of 2022, The Vault opened its doors with its grand opening on June 5th! We had a great turnout thanks to all of you, who have supported us since the beginning.
